Elderflower Studio is a NYC-based floral design studio, creating intentional, nature-inspired florals for moments that matter.
Our designs are thoughtful, from how we source blooms from local growers, to the placement of every stem in every vase. Flowers connect us to the seasons and the earth, to the growers who tend to them in the field, and the community of people gathered around them at a candlelit table.

Sustainability
We design with seasonal flowers sourced from local growers, and focus on honoring both the craft and the earth, working with foam-free mechanics and collecting our flower scraps for compost.
Community
Flowers connect us, both to nature and to each other. Through event flowers and workshops we offer a way to gather, gift, and celebrate with your own circles through flowers.
meet annamarie
Hello! I’m the designer behind Elderflower Studio.
I came to flowers after studying and working in film production, at a time when I was eager to get out of an office and work with my hands. After freelancing with established florists in and around New York City, I founded Elderflower Studio to connect with others through flowers.
Flowers are a reminder to be in the moment, a marker of a particular time and place. I love working with locally-grown flowers, exploring the colors, shapes, and textures of the seasons, responding to what the flowers are offering and working in tandem with nature to create designs that feel thoughtful and poetic. Through my practice at Elderflower, I hope to bring the beauty of flowers into moments that matter, from quiet Saturday mornings at home to life’s most important celebrations.
When I’m not working with flowers I’m likely drinking coffee, writing, embroidering, and spending time with my husband, our two boys, and our pup, Ginger.
