Our full-service floral design is a custom experience from start to finish. We start with a conversation, taking your floral vision and bringing it to life, and handling everything from sourcing vases, to set-up and breakdown after the event.

Full-service events include the following:

  • Phone consultation
  • Mood board and quote
  • Detailed proposal
  • Venue walk-through (optional)
  • Custom-designed, foam-free florals
  • Candle and vessel sourcing and rental
  • Day-of delivery and floral placement and styling
  • Set-up of floral structures and installations
  • Breakdown and compost of flower scraps

Our Process

Our floral design services are a custom experience, from start to finish. Read through to learn about our process for designing your wedding and event florals, from our very first phone call to delivery on the big day.

Get in Touch

Next, we’ll hop on a phone call to discuss all of the details of your event! This is where you can share any ideas you have about color palette, style, and overall vibe, and ask questions about Elderflower and our design process. If you’re still in the early stages of planning and don’t have all of the details lined up yet, this is a great time talk through your vision and get those conversations started.

We’ll follow up with a preliminary quote and mood board before moving forward. Please note, we require a 25% non-refundable retainer to book.

Once you’ve booked, we’ll create a detailed proposal outlining everything we discussed! We’ll include lots of photo references and descriptions so you can really envision the florals coming to life at your event. This proposal is a living document until three weeks out, so we’ll continue to work with you through any design changes and adjustments leading up to your event or celebration.

Three weeks ahead of your event, we’ll finalize the details; at this point we require the remaining balance so we can start ordering all of the flowers and hard goods.

In the final weeks we’ll be hard at work in the studio prepping for your special event! We’ll source all of the vases, candles, and flowers, working with local and seasonal blooms and sustainable floral mechanics. If you have a planner or coordinator, we’ll be in touch with them throughout the design process so you can sit back and know that your florals are taken care of.

Day-of, we’ll deliver the flowers, set-up any floral installations or structures, and bring the tablescape to life. At the end of your event, if you’ve booked us for breakdown, we’ll return to the venue to pick up flowers and compost any flower scraps.
